Has anyone played "Twisted Metal", the game?

One of the characters is a friggin clown. He's a murderer. His name is "Sweet Tooth" and he runs a ice cream truck. Anyone wanna talk about it?

I quite like the odd boardgame to be honest. Not a big fan of computer games. But then, I am not a computer geek! :D

No, I'm just sayin, personally, he doesn't scare me at all. I love that game. It's so fun.

If it's the game I'm thinking of, I couldn't have gotten past the cover. Big nasty clown on the cover? No way.
I bought a used copy of Silent Hill 2, thinking it might be cool. I felt even better when the book (yes I read the book!) said that you can play in a mode where there are no monsters to fight, but the puzzles are still difficult.
Now, I like horror movies, novels and such, but this game scared the sh** out of me. The first place you have to go is down a path by the river. OK, I'm walking along and then I hear something in the bushes. I think they took out the monsters, but left the sound effects (They moved the headstones, but they didn't move the bodies!!). And the whole game environment is permeated with this eerie fog and creepy music.
Later on I could hear a second set of footsteps echoing behind me. After wandering around for a while, a "movie" scene played and I guess fighting the monster was an integral part of the plot, so I couldn't move on until I whacked the sucker with a stick. It was truly freaky, I swear. I took the game back to the store.

god. i played that game, but not sweet tooth...

and what is it with friggin tv people using clowns all over the place? first the car game, then this show that was (is?) on PBS. and just the other night while i was watching Buffy (lol one of my faves) it was a show on how the peoples nightmares came true, and this one guy (Zander) was terrified of clowns and he had a dream where a clown chased him. that thing had the most evil laugh i have ever heard. he came out and was all weird lookin too. smart me, i was laying on my bed with the lights out, back facing the door :roll: i was so scared i screamed so loud my mom hadta come to my room to see what was wrong with me!!!!

I've played Twisted Metal Black and let me tell you... I think I just go for Sweet Tooth first. If no one else, IT must die!!! I go for him first then the rest I really don't care about. lol :o :o :twisted:
