People laugh at me, but I don't like clowns. Still, Oompa-Loompas are the freakiest mutation of clowns. With their bulging forheads and orange skin. Besides, what kind of perverts would live with hundreds of male freaks in a factory and no females? If I met one, I don't know if I'd skull-kick it or wet myself!

That whole movie freaks me out.
Especially their voices when they sing.
*shudder*
And that Wonka guy is scary enough by himself.

I hear ya, I actually read the book first and there they seemed pretty okay to me. But when I saw the movie.. oh boy.

I still believe that Wonka just drugged the kids and led them through a plain, otherwise normal candy factory.
But those Oompa-Loompas... Ugh. They're like a clown crossed with the Munchkins from The Wizard of Oz.

Oompa Loompas are the "dark side" of Wonka-land.
The first thing that strikes me as seriously wrong here is the lack of safety. And God only knows what they did to the girl that puffed up like a blueberry as two of them rolled her out afterwards. And I don't want to know what happened to the fat German kid in the chocolate.
When I was in High School, I had a girl in my senior class, that was the size, shape, and physical apperance of an Oompa Loompah...She was very creepy.
They are the henchmen of Wonka Land. And the idea that they are around children and messing with candy is even more disturbing.
But then again...maybe it's just me..

I agree that is one way scarey movie, whats with the little flute that freak wonka plays, I reckon it's implanting some subliminal message into our heads, that evil bastard should be strung up for harbouring known mutants like those oompas.
I pick charlie for a smart lad, so it has to be the flute that screws his mind, arrrgghhh, I can't talk about this any more, I still get nightmares with those mutant freak oompas doing cartwheels on my bed.

i don't really think oompa-loompas are really all that bad but those munchkins on WIzard of Oz... oo.. it's a good movie but the muchkins are frickin evil. anyhow- did y'all know that this one guy didn't get a part he wanted so he killed himself? weird part is- it's during the movie. u have to look real close but when the people are walkin down the road and into the woods you'll see a figure in the shadows. it's the guy hanging himself... :?

I hate clowns, and I am not too fucking fond of midgets either..
And besides...something just isn't right about that time period..
Munckins...Hitler...1939...
Conspiracy or Coincedence?...YOU tell me..
