Okay....i dont know what my parents introduced me to this movie but i remember the first time seeing it.i think i was about 6 or something and i think IT was on the sci-fi channel or something and i guess my parents were watching it.i went in to the room and it was on the part right before the clown is in the sewer thing and is gonna bring the little kid under.well i guess i got into the movie and i got so freaked out on that part and started crying and stuff and when he gets that kid in the shower.ever since i saw that movie i cannot walk on rainy days by sewers at all i have to be like on the other side of the street and i have to kep my head down. even now nine years later im still very freaked out by clowns.i will not go to a circus or go near any puppets cuz i am so freaked out.
clowns suck!!! :twisted:

That movie is the source of my fear/hatred of clowns too. I also watched it at a young age (about 7 or 8 ) and the sewer scene is what triggered it off. It's the way that the clown's facial expression changes into a very evil one. Maybe Stephen King is clouraphobic (sp?) too.

ok, as much as i LOVE Stephen King's books, and all the gore and such, i just simply cannot bring myself to read or watch "It". I've read so many of his books, but that one is just the limit for me. my friends have told me about it, as well as you guys (and girls, lol). I've been threatened by my friends (!!!) that they'd make me watch It or any other clown movie (killer klowns from outer space, y'all know which ones i mean). so it isnt fun. the irony of it all? THEY HATE CLOWNS TOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Is that because you think it'll suck, or cos of the clown?

The movie IT has inspired MANY coulrophoics. I think the reason many people come here and discover this site is because of that movie. Personally seeing it at the age of seven then walking to your friends house in the middle of the country with one street light on that's red after seeing it... you begin to fear anything that lives in the sewer. I meant he Ninja Turtles came out of there and helped people but I don't think Pennywise is out to help anyone. lol :o :evil:
(sorry this is from school and I need to be quick about it ) :roll:

Yeah, I agree.
I've seen Killer Clowns, it is supposed to be funny (but to me it wasn't). They wrap their victims in cotton candy and then suck out their blood with a straw.

Well isn't that just delicious? I've been told to see that... of course by the evil pro-clowns I live with. -.-;
Where do they come from? Like carnivals? Freakin' weird... I don't know who would study clowns long enough to make a movie about evil ones eating us. *shiver*

My entire family likes clowns except for my favorite uncle ever who is also afraid of them. But unfortuntly I live with pro-clownies. My aunt hung a clown picture in my room the first night I was in there and I made her take it down by holding a protest by sleeping in her bed, not letting anyone else until they did. ^.^;;

I saw the movie "IT" lastnight.....let me tell you that it was the most frightening thing i have ever seen. I am now not only scared of clowns, but also scared of sewers. I'll never forget when the clown was in the sewer and ate the little boy. Trust me, this is not a movie you want to see. Im 15 and have been scared of clowns my whole life, im new here and im glad to see that im not the only one with this fear of clowns.

Trust me, don't watch this film. It will mess you up. I can probably just watch it all except for the sewer scene. I try to watch it sometimes, i'll put the video on and watch that scene, but as soon as the clowns head pops up from the darkness, I go all sweaty and shakey. I just turn it off and start shivering for a bit.

I saw it once, and that's all I needed. I never want to work in the sewers, after seeing that I was afraid to take a shower for like a week, I did of course but they were REALLY quick. :( :o :o

No, it's no way near as scary as IT. Only people with serious fears would be troubled by it. If you got through IT, you'd easily get through KCFOS. But I wouldn't bother cos it's just a really stupid B-movie anyway.

I'm a huge fan of this movie (mainly becuase it still scares the crap out of me). No matter how many times i watch it it still freaks the heck out of me. Every time he says "They all float down here" it just sends chills up my spine.

Anyway, I popped this movie back into my VCR today. I was in a mood for just freaking myself out. I've discovered that i'm ok with any scene in the movie (just about) except for the dreaded sewer scene. I can watch most of that scene, but turn it off before the scary bit.
They say the book is scarier than the film. It probably is, but I have no trouble reading that part of the film in the book. Speaking of which i'm gonna read some now...

Ever since I have seen Stephen King's IT I can't walk by a storm drain or a sewer without looking into it thinking please don't let Pennywise hurt me.
Also I use to walk in woods and all. But well ever since I watched Killer Klowns From Outer Space I think twice about it. Nope I'll never walk into another wood or even a tunnel without looking twice. Three times to be sure the coast is clear.
