Pyro. They don't beleive in Horsepower, or Torque. They measure power output in something like KiloNetutonGonads or something.

Looks like a decent ride Witchy. Which one of you is going to be driving it most?

Maybe you'll need to attach one of those bullbars at the front with some big spikes. Oh, and Stinger missiles behind the headlights

It's mainly going to be for getting bob to work and back since it's incredibly more fuel efficent compared to his malevolant beast and we live less than 10 minutes (walking) from my work. And any way, my car is going to be just as sexy when we finish with it!! Bob's current estimate is another month or two and it will finally be on the road.

If you're the type of person inclined to name cars, surely you realize that the name has to fit it's personality. And you won't get to know it's personality until *atleast* you finish with the engine break-in. (I don't name mine, but know they have their own personalities)

Silly witchy,
The car is built backwards! How can you drive from that side? ;)

Interesting detail: In Australia the brand is called Holden, but back here in Europe it's called Opel and I believe in Great-Britain they call it Vauxhall...

to convert kw to hp multiple by 1.31
so, 147x 1.31 = 193 hp

so, it's fastish, good for a daily driver :)
(the other car has ~300hp, so I don't need this one to be fast! :) )

just want something reliable, comfy, and all the rest of that jazz .. oh, and pretty blue!

I am looking into getting opel badges for it, as the holden one's look terrible!
the car is made by opel, but is marketed as a vauxhall and a holden in different countries. (as are a few other cars, eg: vectra)

I got a name for your car witchiepoo. When you encounter some clowns, call your car "DOOMSDAY"!! (After the monster that killed Superman in 1991 or 1992)

King_Louie
July 2nd, 2003, 07:52 AM
It's going be pretty hard if you ever try to sell the car: 'No, it wasn't owned by an old lady that only drove it to the church on sunday. It's called doomsday and I used it to run over clowns...' :?
