Help!!

A clown convention is coming to my town and I have to go to the very same building on the very same day!! I need some emotional support! Reply as soon as you can with tips on how to avoid them long enough for me to get a good shot. :twisted:

OK, I know something about this. A few years ago, I moved to this town called Lincoln in England. The VERY FIRST weekend I was there, there was a bloody clown convention. They must have KNOWN that a coulrophobic had enetered the area! I was wandering about, trying to find my bearings, when I started to think I was living the nightmares I've been having for 20 years. From every pore of the city, seeped a clown. It was awful. I was frozen the the spot (I think they can smell fear), in a cold sweat, I couldn't move. Eventually, I was able to run, but I couldn't hide. They were everywhere. EVERYWHERE! It was, without doubt, the worst day of my life.

They can in fact smell fear. Why do you think they wear red noses? Those are highly sensitive sensors to pick up certain hormones which are released through your pores when you're scared. Thats how they know you're affraid of clowns. Bet you didn't know that! :wink:

dude..it's just clowns, this is what you do, you bring a freakin water gun and shoot them in the faces till their make up comes off..then you'll have an ordinary fat bald guy. Or you walk in there and if they touch you, do like me and punch em till they bleed..or bring some air freshners and a lighter and burn em all

Aside from your pyromaniac tendencies, you have a point. Maybe water pistols are the way forward? But is a clown still a clown when out of make-up and baggy pants? Is it the costume that makes them evil, or the person underneath that's seriously sick and wrong?

Well, it's the person who decided to dress up like that, so I guess it's not just the clothing. And a water gun will scare them off, but won't stop 'm. It'll wash away the paint, but then they'll just put on some more. And trust me, clowns always carry a lot of back-up paint.

I have to say, I tend to agree. I mean, what sort of a person would choose to wear demonic facepaint? A person that chooses to become a clown is obviously in league with the devil. Either that or they need to be institutionalised. Or maybe both. I'd be kinda intrigued to know why people do become clowns though...

ahh lightning... i can only imagine how many ugly abused people became clowns last night seein as we had a huge storm...and yay, another newcomer whos a pyro!! lol. anyhow- KL- we can all only hope that it's a 3 story house and he's at the top of the house with that window-jumping :wink: lol.

Sure you can. Just be careful, don't use them indoors, or throw them at others (except for clowns of course) and animals. And don't hold them in your hand. :D
