Well crap. I wasn't going to post anything since I've posted in all the other forums I'm in and I didn't want to do anything to exacerbate any political tension but I just wanted to say a couple of things.

First, I was reading on CNN that a bunch of other countries pretty much congratulated the American people on a very good choice, everyone from Putin of Russia to all kinds of odd countries (to me anyway) that you wouldn't think really would want him in. France was more or less non-committal, understandably, and England was a bit circumspect, Iraq (the interim government), amusingly, was cautiously supportive, Israel seemed totally indifferent, saying it really didn't matter who was in charge because they got along with everybody (had to chuckle), and really it was Sweden that surprised me, that said they also were pretty indifferent but that this election showed how divided our country truly was - they were really the only ones that truly spoke their minds and sorta laid out the bad news. Iran of course said they didn't care either, as long as the US left them alone - which of course won't happen, since Bush already indicated we needed to "resolve" the "Iran problem" in 14-24 months, but thats an entirely different subject.

I'd just like to say that we didn't get a Third Party candidate in Oklahoma, so I left the Presidential ballot blank because I reject the un-democratic elitism both parties showed in blocking third parties from ballots and debates. If someone does a politics thread, I might join it but I won't post anymore in this one since thats not the subject of this thread.
