Tell your son I said Congrats! I wish my school had that...but NOOOO NO FUNDING FOR THAT! (my cheap bastard school) The macaroni salad was WAY better last year! And the stuff they try to pass off as chicken, mashed potatoes, and roast beef is nasty.....And the sausage uis ALWAYS pink....grrrr

Thanks, IHC. And I think it's sucky that there's no funding for such a program in your school. It really is a great program. I find it disgusting that city governments spend tens of millions of dollars to finance sports complexes while the public school systems fall apart at the seams. There are kids sitting in classrooms with leaky roofs and no air conditioning, using 4 year old textbooks, and the teachers have to buy the classroom supplies with money from their own pockets, there is no funding for gifted or honors education programs, and parents in some areas have to pay $250 per year, per child, for their kids to ride the district bus to school.
How bass-ackwards is that?? It makes me want to vomit!

Dear Public School Students,

Gee, kids, I'm sorry you're freezing and wet in the winter and sweating to death in the summer, and your books are falling apart, and you don't have the supplies you need in your classrooms, and you can't excell like you want to, and you have to walk 2 miles to school. I'm all broke up about it. Really, I am. It's just that having the (insert city and sports team name here) is more important, so I'm giving them the money to build their stadium instead. Better luck next time.

HEY!!! What's the matter with you kids?!?!?! You can barely read and write, for Pete's sake! These are the lowest test scores I've ever seen! I don't understand it. We give you kids everything. We have the best public school system around. You kids just refuse to learn. Why, back in my day, we didn't even HAVE schools. We taught ourselves. Outside. In the snow. With no shoes on. With no books. We used rocks and sticks. You should consider yourselves lucky. I'm disgusted. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a football game to attend. I get two free season passes, box seats, because of all the money I gave them to build their stadium, and I wouldn't want to be rude by being late.

I know exactly how that is...My school HALF the books are from 1995! THATS HOW BAD IT IS! My science textbook (which I will try and get a pic of on here) is literally torn at the seams and wil break at the slightest touch and some books at school are missing covers!
