View Full Version : female clowns?

I was asked today what I thought of female clowns. I typically think of clowns as male, but some scary lady ones are out there. But I just wondered what the forum's opinion would be. Views anyone?

Although female clowns are a lot rarer then male clowns are, they have the element of surprise. You expect some old, lazy drunk, but instead there's this woman. What should you think of her? Don't let her fool you! She's just as bad as a male. A clown is a clown. No matter what gender, race, age or religion. Clowns are not done.

You have a good point - there IS an element of surprise. In some ways, female clowns are even spookier than male ones. And scarier still is the fear they may be carrying little baby clowns... Shudder. I've always been scared of children in facepaint. Well, it's not natural is it? Clowns-in-training. Double shudder.

well- i think women clowns are just as horrible. coz children are naturally drawn to women... maybe its a plan just to get more people into being clowns when they grow up....

CLOWNKILLA STOP IT!!please!
they are foofoo, true enough, but thats what brings the kiddies into clowns and thats never good.

I can't believe anyone would be DRAWN to a clown, male or female? But maybe kids that aren't scared of them yet are just better able to tolerate lady clowns? I think they're as scary. Only smaller (usually). Isn't there something even more sinister about a woman that would want to terrorise people wearing a curly wig and excessive make-up? Mind you, it never stopped my grandmother... :)
clowns arent funny

Hahaha - no. My grandmother just has mad frizzy hair (owns the odd blonde wig), and wears too much make-up. She's not a clown. She's mad as a balloon, but not a clown.

Not really clown related, but has anyone ever been to one of those family parties and then you get there and see over 150 people, of which you only know like... 10? I have. Pretty scary. Weird strangers telling you're getting big, how's school, etc, etc...

All in good time, DWTC! :)
Yes Louie, family reunions are a bit odd. And often scope for a clown entertainer to terrorise your little cousins. I always found them a bit odd - pointless, but with vol-au-vents! ;)

August 7th, 2003, 01:36 PM

My cousin Cynthia was a clown. God, Can you imagine having one of your own relatives be a clown?
How scary is that! Personally, She would have been better as an executive assistant.
Hell, I wouldn't have gotten so upset even with her doing a job as an exotic dancer.
At least she'd get some positive attention. :P
